BMU Internet Service FAQ

After a lengthy analysis and review of declining revenues, customer subscriptions and the substantial capital investment required to replace obsolete equipment, it became apparent that BMU internet service can no longer be competitive. Discontinuing BMU internet service was the most logical and fiscally responsible approach for the City of Bryan, our residents and businesses. We have been proud to service our community for the past twenty-four years but the challenge of competing and providing an appropriately priced service has proven too large to overcome.

This service will expire on December 9, 2024 at the end of our business day at 4:00 pm. We encourage our customers to find an alternate ISP (Internet Service Provider) at your earliest convenience.
