BMU will resume disconnects for unpaid utilities on overdue utility accounts billed after 6/20/20. Payments will need to be made prior to the due date to avoid disruption in electric service. We supply an average of 1.5 million gallons of safe drinking water every day. Nearly 70 miles of underground pipe deliver water to more than 3,800 homes and businesses.

The Communications Department maintains over 50 miles of underground fiber optic lines. Our system is one of the most fiber-rich systems in the U.S. We have 54 fiber nodes with standby battery backup, each serving 80 to 120 homes.
