FAQ

Meter installation will begin in April of 2022 and will continue into 2023.

Yes, but not at the same time. Your electric meter will be installed first, and your water meter installed at a later date.

No, there is no cost to you for the meter replacement.

A door hanger will be hung after the installation to indicate whether the electric or water meter was replaced.

You will receive your electric and water bill just like before. You may notice two different meter readings one from the old meter and one from the new meter. These combine to your normal monthly bill.

The installation will only take a few minutes. You will experience a brief interruption in electric service. You may need to reset your clocks and other electronic devices.

If you have a medical condition that requires uninterrupted electric service, please contact our office at 419-633-6100 for more information.

Your water service could be interrupted for fifteen(15) to thirty (30) minutes while the old meter is removed, and new meter installed. Your water service will be restored after installation and your water line will be flushed to remove air in the line if accessible.
