Last night’s storm consisting of high wind and heavy rain caused severe damage down on Oakwood Ave. There were several trees, limbs, a couple of power poles, some busted cross arms, and broken electric wires down. Simply put, It was a twisted mess.
We are happy to report that Oakwood Avenue is cleaned up and power is restored.
A special thank you goes out to the best lineman crew a city could ask for. Short-staffed, these men worked tirelessly overnight to clean up and restore power. We run several campaigns throughout the year highlighting how important our lineman crew is to the City of Bryan. Last night was a textbook example of what our lineman crew means to our community. We simply can not say this enough THANK YOU!
