Bryan Municipal Utilities, the Ohio Gas Company, the Bryan Area Chamber of Commerce and the Williams County Economic Development Corporation (WEDCO), will host a 2018 Energy Update session on November 9 for local business and industrial customers.
“Many local organizations are preparing their 2018 budgets. Utilities are often significant parts of these budgets,” said BMU Director of Utilities Kevin Maynard. “The 2018 Energy Update is designed to share information that can assist customers in budget preparation and identify options that may help better manage utility use and expenses.”
Ohio Gas Company representatives will share information regarding the firm’s proposed natural gas distribution service rate adjustment and discuss projected 2017-2018 natural gas supply and costs.
BMU representatives will share details of recently enacted electric rate adjustments, suggestions on managing electric use to reduce costs, and discuss details of a proposed electric economic development incentive rate designed to benefit existing and new customers.
The 2018 Energy Update session will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 9, in Conference Rooms A and B at the Williams County Community Offices, 1425 East High Street, Bryan, Ohio.
