Paying Your Bill

BMU offers several convenient ways for customers to pay their bills:

• In person - Payment can be made with checks, cash, Visa and MasterCard at the Clerk-Treasurer office.



• Mail or drop off - An envelope is included with each bill. The envelope with payment can be dropped off in the night box near the door at the Clerk Treasurer office or simply mailed to us.



• Automatic payment - Payment can be made by automatic debit from your checking or savings account. Just fill out a form and provide a voided check or deposit slip so we can get the routing number. The following month, payment will be deducted automatically from the account. This is a safe and very convenient way to pay.

Low Income Bill Paying Assistance

BMU has implemented a program called the Bryan Good Neighbors Utilities Fund to help low-income households with their basic water and electric bills. The program provides emergency bill paying assistance to BMU customers who cannot make their payment and are in danger of having their electricity and/or water shut off.
