Drinking Water Our drinking water comes from seven artesian wells with an average depth of 131 feet. We pump an average of 1.9 million gallons of drinking water per day to the city at a rate of approximately 2,000 gallons per minute. All the wells, both water towers, and water plant operations can be controlled by our SCADA computer and telemetry system. Water supply operators monitor the chlorine, iron and pH levels of the drinking water every day. In addition, samples are taken monthly at 10 different locations within the system to test for bacteria. Bryan Drinking Water Constituents
